P010 → Beyond these Walls

Theatre Development Centre presents
BEYOND these walls
a symposium on where we go from here

21 & 22 June 2014 as part of Cork Midsummer Festival

For the last three years exciting things have been happening within the walls of the TDC.
The rectangular room has proven itself week-on-week to be the most valuable resource available for creating work in the Cork theatre community - With 68 shows developed since it began.

However in a reality of shrinking envelopes, a shifting landscape, strategic reviews and evolving art forms we can now decide where we go from here. As part of this year's Festival, TDC will host two days of engagements entitled ‘BEYOND these walls’.

We aim as a community to explore and question the strategies, resources and relationships in producing
professional performance in Cork - What is beyond the walls of TDC?

Over the two days - We will Think as a community and alonside each other. We will Question where we stand now, Assess the wider landscape, Imagine where we go from here and Look at the possibilities in Cork.
